REGULATIONS AND SAFETY

 

The race is arranged according to the regulations of the NCF (the Norwegian Cyckling Federation). In addition, this race got some additional regulations.

 

Helmet

It is mandatory to wear a CE approved helmet during the entire race.

 

DNF (Did not finish)

If a participant decides to not finish the race, they are obligated to notify the organizers. Immediately notify the nearest trail guard or the secretariat.

 

Other regulations

• All participants are obligated to stop and give assistance in case of an accident.

• Earbuds with music or communications are not allowed.

• It is strictly forbidden to ride under another person's name.

• Traffic rules and race regulations have to be followed.

• Littering is strictly prohibited.

• Bullhorn and drop handlebars are not allowed.

• The organizer reserves the right to change the course during the event, due to change in weather or other safety reasons.

• Violation of one or more rules may result in disqualification or denial of participation.

 

Recommended gear

For security reasons it is strongly recommended to have the following on the trip:

• Waterproof jacket

• Waterproof pants

• Mittens / gloves with long fingers

• Headgear (hats / buff)

• Dry socks

• Food

• Hose, tires, pump, patch equipment, Allen key.
